Government Polytechnic Talbehat, Lalitpur was established in the year 2013. It is located in Village Tekri, Post Khandi, Tehsil Talbehat, around 40 km from the district headquarters of Lalitpur. Spread over an area of 7 acres, the institute features a well-planned campus layout. It envisions becoming one of the leading polytechnic colleges in Uttar Pradesh. GPT has consistently fostered a culture of shared responsibility to empower students with key employability traits such as discipline, technical competence, self-confidence, humility, and a strong work ethic. At present, four diploma programs are offered here: Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mining Engineering.
